For treating vaginal yeast infections, a single dose of 150 mg is usually sufficient. For other types of yeast infections, your healthcare provider will determine the appropriate dosage and duration of treatment based on your specific condition. It's important to follow your healthcare provider's instructions carefully. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule.

Each Diflucan capsule contains 150 mg of fluconazole as the active ingredient. The capsule also contains microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, and sodium lauryl sulfate.

Common side effects of Diflucan may include nausea, headache, rash, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include severe skin reactions, liver problems, and allergic reactions such as difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, lips, throat, or tongue.

Do not take Diflucan if you are allergic to fluconazole or any other ingredients in the medication. Inform your healthcare provider about any medical conditions you have, especially liver or kidney disease. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Diflucan. Diflucan may interact with certain medications, so inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are taking. If you experience any signs of liver damage such as jaundice, dark urine, or persistent nausea, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
