Dosage and usage
You should apply one Estradot patch to clean, dry skin on your lower abdomen or buttocks. Change the patch twice a week, preferably on the same days to maintain a consistent hormone level. Avoid applying the patch to irritated or damaged skin. If you forget to apply a patch, do so as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. What Estradot contains
Each Estradot patch contains 25 micrograms of estradiol as the active ingredient. The patch also includes acrylic adhesive, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, povidone, lauryl lactate, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, and oleic acid as excipients.
Side effects
Common side effects of Estradot may include skin irritation at the application site, breast pain, headaches, and nausea.
