Finacea

You should apply a thin layer of Finacea gel to the affected areas of your skin twice a day, in the morning and evening. Gently massage the gel into your skin until it is absorbed. Be careful to avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. There is no specific limitation on the duration of treatment with Finacea, but you should follow your healthcare provider's instructions. If you experience any severe skin irritation or other unexpected reactions, stop using Finacea and consult your doctor.

Each gram of Finacea gel contains 15% azelaic acid as the active ingredient. The gel also includes benzoic acid, disodium edetate, lecithin, medium-chain triglycerides, polyacrylic acid, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, purified water, and sodium hydroxide.

Common side effects of Finacea may include itching, burning, tingling, dryness, or redness at the application site. In some cases, you may experience contact dermatitis or worsening of rosacea symptoms. Serious side effects are rare but may include severe allergic reactions or a worsening of skin irritation. If you notice any signs of a severe reaction like difficulty breathing or swelling of the face, seek immediate medical attention.

Avoid using Finacea if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you have a known sensitivity to propylene glycol. This product is not intended for use by children. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before using Finacea. If you have a history of skin conditions or are taking any medications, especially those affecting your skin, talk to your doctor before starting Finacea treatment.
