Lotriderm

For adults and children over 12 years old, apply a thin layer of Lotriderm to the affected area once or twice a day. Gently massage the cream into the skin until it is absorbed. Wash your hands before and after applying the cream unless you are treating a hand condition. Avoid covering the treated skin with bandages or dressings unless directed by your healthcare provider. Do not use Lotriderm for more than 7 days unless instructed by your doctor. If your symptoms do not improve after this period, consult your healthcare professional.

Each gram of Lotriderm cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole and 0.64 mg of betamethasone (as dipropionate). The other ingredients include benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, chlorocresol, and white soft paraffin.

Common side effects of Lotriderm may include burning, stinging, itching, or redness at the application site. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include skin thinning, stretch marks, changes in skin color, and allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing. If you experience any severe side effects, stop using the cream and seek medical help promptly.

Do not use Lotriderm if you are allergic to clotrimazole, betamethasone, or any of the ingredients in the cream. Avoid using this medication on your face, eyes, or mucous membranes. Inform your doctor if you have a history of skin thinning, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before using Lotriderm. If you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications, talk to your doctor before starting treatment with Lotriderm.
