Meloxicam

You should take Meloxicam exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual starting dose is typically 7.5 mg taken once daily. Your doctor may adjust this dose based on your condition. The maximum recommended dose is 15 mg per day. Meloxicam should be taken with a full glass of water. Each Meloxicam tablet contains 7.5 mg or 15 mg of Meloxicam as the active ingredient. In addition to the active ingredient, the tablets may also contain various excipients such as lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, and magnesium stearate.

Common side effects of Meloxicam may include stomach upset, nausea, dizziness, or headache. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include signs of kidney problems, liver issues, high blood pressure, heart failure, or severe skin reactions.
