Rigevidon

You should take one tablet of Rigevidon every day for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break without pills. Start the next pack after the break, even if your period hasn't finished. Remember to take the pills at the same time each day to maximize effectiveness. If you miss a pill, follow the instructions in the leaflet provided. If you experience persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, the contraceptive effect may be reduced, so use extra protection during this time.

Each Rigevidon tablet contains 150 micrograms of levonorgestrel and 30 micrograms of ethinylestradiol, along with excipients such as lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, and magnesium stearate.

Common side effects of Rigevidon may include mood changes, breast tenderness, and weight fluctuations. Serious side effects like blood clots, severe allergic reactions, or a rise in blood pressure should be reported to your doctor immediately. If you experience persistent leg pain or sudden chest pain, seek medical help promptly.

Do not use Rigevidon if you have a history of blood clots, breast cancer, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. This contraceptive is not suitable for pregnant women or those with severe liver disease. If you have a heart condition or are on medications like antiepileptics, talk to your healthcare provider before starting Rigevidon.
