Rigevidon

About Rigevidon

Rigevidon is a combined oral contraceptive pill that helps prevent pregnancy. It contains two active ingredients, ethinylestradiol, and levonorgestrel. These hormones work by stopping ovulation, thickening the cervical mucus, and altering the lining of the womb to prevent sperm from reaching an egg. Rigevidon is suitable for women looking for an effective birth control method.

Dosage and usage

You should take one tablet of Rigevidon every day for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break without pills. Start the next pack after the break, even if your period hasn't finished. Remember to take the pills at the same time each day to maximize effectiveness. If you miss a pill, follow the instructions in the leaflet provided. If you experience persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, the contraceptive effect may be reduced, so use extra protection during this time.
