Dosage and usage
Apply a thin layer of Timodine cream to the affected area of clean, dry skin two to four times a day, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not cover the treated area with airtight dressings unless instructed to do so by your doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes. If your skin condition does not improve after 7 days of treatment, consult your healthcare professional. The effects of Timodine should be noticeable within a few days of use.
What Timodine contains
Each gram of Timodine cream contains 1 mg of hydrocortisone and 10 mg of iodochlorhydroxyquin. The cream also contains liquid paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, phosphoric acid, and purified water.
Side effects
Common side effects of Timodine may include skin irritation, burning, itching, or dryness at the application site. Serious side effects are rare but may include allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
