Zaditen

For adults and children over 3 years old, the usual dosage is one drop in each affected eye twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you forget a dose, use it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. The effects of Zaditen can last up to 12 hours. If you experience any eye pain, changes in vision, or worsening symptoms, contact your healthcare provider.

Each ml of Zaditen contains 250 micrograms of ketotifen (as fumarate) as the active ingredient. The solution also includes benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium chloride, and purified water as excipients.

Common side effects of Zaditen may include mild eye irritation or stinging. Serious side effects that require immediate medical attention include eye pain, vision changes, or signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.

Do not use Zaditen if you are allergic to ketotifen or any other ingredients in the product. Avoid using this medication if you wear contact lenses. If you have a history of eye problems or use other eye medications, consult your doctor before using Zaditen. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek medical advice before using this product.
