Dosage and usage

The usual dosage for Zyban is one 150mg tablet once a day for the first six days. Starting from the seventh day, you should take one 150mg tablet twice a day, with at least 8 hours between doses. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 300mg. It is recommended to start taking Zyban while you are still smoking and set a target quit date within the first two weeks of treatment. Remember that it may take a few weeks for Zyban to reach its full effect. If you experience any unusual changes in your behavior, thoughts, or mood, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
